Missions

National Center of Food and Drug Analysis or briefly called NCFDA is a technical organization of Ministry of Health (MOH), under the supervision of the Food and Drug Department (FDD).

• French name: Centre National d’Analyse des Aliments et des Medicaments “CNAAM”
• English name: National Center of Food and Drug Analysis “NCFDA”

It has the roles to:

1. Test and analyze the quality of food, drug, health products, cosmetics, vaccines, narcotic and psychotropic drugs, toxic from food and pharmaceutical products;
2. Calibrate analytical instruments
3. Conduct scientific research on food and drug testing.
